Your Guide to Spring Swings – Part 2

Sweet sunshine and fresh air — we’re all delighted to welcome spring back into our lives. In honor of spring and all the wonderful aspects of this new season, we put together a guide to handcrafted swings so that you can enjoy every moment of this beautiful time.

If you’re stuck between Poly or Pressure Treated Pine, check out the first part of our swing guide, detailing the different attributes of these two lumbers.

Both Poly and Pressure Treated Pine swings come in a variety of different styles, each uniquely designed for your outdoor comfort.

Fanback Swing

As the most popular swing style in Poly lumber, the Fanback Swing promises an individualized seating structure for your peaceful moments relaxing in nature.

Spring Swings

Amish craftsmen built this swing, its unique sloping back and sturdy structure, with meticulous care. This swing creates a peaceful haven to sit back and let go of life’s worries. Its smooth motion makes it easy to relax and simply breathe.

We often keep a variety of these Poly Fanback Swings in stock. To help secure and hang your new swing, chains are included in your investment.

 High Back Heart SwingSpring Swings

This sweet swing features a simple, country charm with its classic structure and unique style. Amish Craftsmen have been building the High Back Heart Porch Swing for many years.

This swing boasts a straight back with no curves, only available in Pressure Treated Pine. This romantic swing will create the moments of your life you can’t help but remember: good conversation, beautiful weather, and great company!

Curve Back Porch SwingSpring Swings

Like its name, the Curve Back Swing style curves lightly to your back, providing a handcrafted, contoured seat that’s both comfortable and relaxing.

Though not ideal for taller individuals because of its slightly shorter back compared to the Fanback or Roll Back Swings, the Curve Back Porch Swing promises years of enjoyment in the great outdoors.

Roll Back Swing

Similar to the Curve Back Swing, the Roll Back style features optimal comfort with it’s simple, contoured back.Spring SwingsThis swing back rolls over, providing a relaxing space to rest the neck.

The gently curved structure boasts the most popular style in Pressure Treated Pine.

The unique rolling back of this swing reflects Lancaster County and its sloping hills and sweet farmland. Prepare for some fun spring days resting in this handcrafted delight, enjoying nature’s beauty!

West Chester Porch SwingSpring Swings

Ideal for the veranda, the lower, straight back of this West Chester Porch Swing won’t block the entryway’s windows. Though similar in style to the Curve Back Swing, the West Chester Porch Swing differs because of its straight, short back.

While still maintaining the high quality known to Amish craftsmanship, these West Chester Porch Swings provides a value based style, made with handcrafted hard work.

We recommend investing in a four-foot swing for two people which is available in the popular Fanback style. Our five-foot swings, available in Roll Back, Curve Back and West Chester, works best for three people.Spring Swings

Though we don’t install the swings ourselves, we provide A-frames to hang your swings from, as an alternative to the porch-hung swing.

Come out to either our Strasburg or Intercourse location to try out your dream swing yourself. We keep a variety of swings on hand for those interested in testing them out. You bring the books and cozy blankets; we’ll provide the relaxing swing!

This spring, we encourage you to not only get out and enjoy nature but relax while soaking in some sun rays. Life doesn’t get much better than that.

What’s your swing style?
