A Grandma’s Kitchen Classic: Moist Chocolate Cake

It’s easy to fall back on your traditional Thanksgiving dishes that you know will turn out. Yet this year might be your time to bake something new — and thanksgiving is the perfect time to try! We found another delicious, Lancaster-inspired recipe just for you.

Moist Chocolate Cake

  • 2 C. flour (sifted)
  • 2 C. sugar (sifted)
  • ¾ C. Cocoa
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • ½ C. oil
  • IMG_79191 C. hot coffee
  • 1 C. milk
  • 2 eggs

Step 1: Mix all ingredients togetherIMG_7830.

Step 2: Bake at 350° for 35 minutes.

Step 3: Eat and enjoy!

This recipe is almost too easy; it only has three steps — mixing, baking and eating — and the last one’s fun! It’s convenient and simple to make!
